Spelvin's exceptional performance in the 1972 film The Devil in Miss Jones is considered by many critics to be the finest in erotic film history. This film, along with Deep Throat and Behind the Green Door made erotic films acceptable to the middle class and middle America. Spelvin remained in films into the mid-1990s with many memorable roles including The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann and The Erotic Adventures of Candy. Mainstream films include Police Academy 1 & 3, and Next Year In Jerusalem, and she had an extensive Broadway career in the 1950s and 60s. Signed Card
